This scan tool is specifically for a Color Canon f. I have even tried to run the setup. It does look to install all of the files for XP Service Pack 2, but still get the same error.

Just tried it and it worked fine. This is if you are using the feeder to SCAN docs over from the scanner to your computer. I have Office As far as I can figure Scangear is mearly an interface to the network scanner right?
Would you have a suggestion for another application that will interface with scangear and preferrably have an option to save to pdf format? That even would work under W7 That means this machine can not scan? There is a driver from the installation containing the scangear tool. But the scangear can work with USB. Please help i have a IR and when i put te IP address of the copier, the pc doesnt recognize it, what should i do??

I use Windows 7 64bit and when I try to install the drivers, only the scangear tool installs but not the network scangear tool. Now to have a second scanner is nice!
